BARRE

This 1-hour class, mixes elements of Pilates, yoga and ballet barre work to increase core strength, develop muscular endurance and enhance flexibility. The small, alignment-focused movements improve your posture and boost your confidence.

BARRE INTERVAL

This 45-minute non-impact cardio boost combines periods of high and low intensity movements to get your heart pumping, while still maintaining the focus on alignment and core strengthening you get in our Barre classes.

BARRE FUSION

This 1-hour class combines the small, focused movement of Barre with the large range of motion, heart rate lifting movements of Barre Interval. This incredibly efficient class will improve your strength, flexibility and cardiovascular health.

STRETCH

This 45-minute deep stretching class will improve muscle effeciency as well as reduce inflammation, pain and chronic stress in the body. It is a perfect compliment to our more strength and cardio focused workouts.

BARRE 45'

This 45-minute class is a similar format to our signature Barre class. With a slightly faster pace, this class is designed to get you a great workout and back to the rest of your day in less than hour.

BARRE 30'

Short on time but still need a barre fix? This Barre class is designed to bring you a maximum amount of results in  a minimum amount of time! In just 30 minutes, find movement, focus, alignment and balance.

THE BENEFITS OF BARRE

Barre is one of the most effective and versatile workouts. Taking the best elements of multiple disciplines such as Pilates, yoga, strength training and ballet, It helps improve balance, build strength, increase flexibility, burn calories and improve stability through a stronger core. Compared to other workouts, Barre puts less stress on ligaments and joints and actually helps stabilise and strengthen them through the emphasis on alignment and proper posture. It works muscular endurance and the focus on small movements means there’s no burn quite like it! It is the perfect workout for beginners and experienced athletes alike. 

THE BENEFITS OF CARDIO

High Intensity Interval Training, or HIIT involves short bursts of high intensity exercise, followed by periods of rest and recovery. These are performed in short intervals and can produce some pretty incredible results. HIIT is also an excellent way to increase your endurance. These workouts push your body to its max, increasing your heart rate and oxygen intake. After a few HIIT workouts, you’ll be able to feel the difference. Not only will you see improved stamina, but you’ll also notice your body takes less time to recover after a workout. This will result in improved endurance when doing other activities, like going for a run, or hiking with friends. Often times in HIIT workouts, the emphasis is on speed and proper form and alignment are compromised. Our Barre Interval classes are non-impact and will allow you to lift your heart rate while maintaining alignment and stability. 

THE BENEFITS OF STRETCHING

Stretching on a regular basis keeps the muscles strong and flexible, allowing for maximum range of motion of a particular joint. Stretching helps to protect our mobility as well as independence and reduces risk for injuries and falls. Without stretching the muscles can shorten, making everything tight. This makes them weak, which increases the risk for joint pain and muscle damage. Our Stretch classes combine dynamic, static and isometric stretching to not only deepen flexibility of also increase mobility and range of motion.
